UVUE operator-led tethered drone project

Professional flight operations backed by practical engineering

UVUE Drones provides operator-led surveillance, surveys, inspections, aerial imagery and specialist aircraft support for professional projects across the UK.

UVUE’s pilots hold the GVC qualification, operations are fully insured, and safety is the first priority. Risk assessments are completed before attendance and reviewed again on site, with current documentation and project scope confirmed before appointment.

UVUE also supports specialist payload integration, drone consultancy, 3D CAD design and in-house CNC parts manufacture—useful when a brief requires more than a standard camera platform.

Qualifications, insurance and permissions

GVC-qualified pilots and insured operations support a documented, risk-assessed approach to professional flight work.

Every flight remains subject to the permissions, limitations and operating conditions applicable at the time.

Configured around the mission

UVUE operates an extensive range of aircraft and payloads for photography, video, multispectral, thermal and large-scale topographical mapping.

For specialist projects, the company combines platform selection with payload fitting, consultancy and component design and manufacture.

Approximately 90 minutes

UVUE’s hydrogen fuel-cell powered platform is specified to carry a 2 kg payload for approximately 90 minutes, subject to mission, configuration and operating conditions.

  3. You receive a practical proposal

The proposed operation, deliverables, assumptions, timing and commercial scope are set out clearly.

  4. Planning continues after approval

Airspace, weather, access and on-site controls are confirmed before capture.
